It was nice having Kathy there to help guide us as we decided whether or not adoption was right for our family. Her personal experience made her relatable, yet she never seemed to judge us, no matter what questions we asked or what kinds of feelings we shared. Kathy is very genuine and has a passion for families built through adoption. She was eager to offer resources that we may need, but was never pushy or made us feel uncomfortable. As an adoption coach, Kathy is a great sounding board and she is full of useful information when you are trying to navigate a world that you may not have previously really known anything about, like us. We had never really even thought about adoption seriously before, but not being able to grow our family "traditionally" led us down this path and I am just grateful that Kathy was there to lead the way.

Deciding to adopt was a big step for us. Deciding where to start was bigger. We met Kathy Boger at a church conference in St. Louis and months later we decided that consulting with her was gonna be our FIRST step. As Christians we were not only concerned about what was the most popular resource out there but what were the resources that were based on sound biblical doctrine and input. We wanted the adoption process to be led by God and not just led by our own human desires. We had our first consult and she gave us a starting point and the necessary tools to get started and what to expect. Although we have not officially started the adoption process, we know where to start and who to talk to when we do. It was such a comfort to know that the process doesn't have to be overwhelming if you have the right kind of help. We are so grateful for her!
